Wendy Silvera is a retired Marine Msgt.  She has lived in the Jacksonville area with her family, off and on since 1995. She understands the stress that comes with deployments, orders, PCS and transition from the Marine Corps. Not only as a Marine, but as a mother and spouse as well.  Wendy has two children, a son who graduated from NC State and is now in the Air Force and a daughter who currently attends college at UNC Charlotte.

 Wendy was awarded Combat Female Veteran for the state of North Carolina in 2020. Due to her actions while on multiple combat deployments,  as well as her work within the community as a veteran.    

She volunteers at the VFW,  and currently holds a position as an officer within the post.  She is in charge of the Veterans Stand Down for Onslow County,  helps homeless veterans, and has volunteers with the Triillium program to get veterans and family members into housing.   Wendy helps monthly with feeding the community,  through the Community Outreach Program, has been a youth sports coach for the Parks and Rec Department, a child advocate and participates in  various other Veterans programs. Her community and fellow veterans/service members are what drives not only her personal life but in real estate as well.
